These are some of my favorite genealogy links. |
Check out the darkside of genealogy. Visit my Halloween site: The Haunting on Widow's bluff |
Ancestry.com requires a paid membership. The subscription is well worth the price if you are actively searching many family lines. |
USGenWeb is a free genealogy site with links to state and county records. The site is run by volunteers so the amount of data available by state and counties varies widely. |
FamilySearch.org is a free site run by the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints. Use this site with caution, I have found many genealogy mistakes in their data bases. |
Missouri offers a free online database of death records, some records are even available to print for free, others can be ordered for a small fee. |
Illinois The state of Illinois has a free online searchable data base for many state records |
TNG, The next generation genealogy program makes the data part of this site possible. If you are interested in putting together a genealogy web page this is the place to start. |
Much of the music on this page was written by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason. The background and buttons are from Sets by Andy. |
My Cinnamon Toast Genealogy, A great collection of genealogy website |
