Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet
Links
These are some of my favorite genealogy links.
Check out the darkside of genealogy. Visit my Halloween site:
The Haunting on Widow's bluff
Ancestry.com requires a paid membership. The subscription is well worth the price if
you are actively searching many family lines.
USGenWeb is a free genealogy site with links to state and county records. The site is
run by volunteers so the amount of data available by state and counties varies widely.
FamilySearch.org is a free site run by the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints.
Use this site with caution, I have found many genealogy mistakes in their data bases.
Missouri offers a free online database of death records, some records are even available
to print for free, others can be ordered for a small fee.
Illinois The state of Illinois has a free online searchable data base for many state records
TNG, The next generation genealogy program makes the data part of this site possible.
If you are interested in putting together a genealogy web page this is the place to start.
Much of the music on this page was written by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason. The background and
buttons are from Sets by Andy.
