I Cloy Dillon of the County of Franklin and State
of Virginia do hereby make this my last will and
Testament as follows To Wit
First it is my Will and desire that all of my past
Debts should be paid by my Execuectors herein after named
Second it is my Will and desire that my son Jessie
Dillon shall have my bay Mare at my Death also 1 Bed
and furniture also 1 cow and calf.
Third it is my Will and desire that My Daughter Rebecca
Ayre shall have my Cupboard and contents at my Death
I also give to my Daughter Rebecca Negro Sally and her
Increase and kind of the same and also 1 Bed and furniture
Fourth it is my Will and desire that my Gran Daughter
Chloe Ayer shall have 1 Bed and furniture also 1 loom
And 1 Flax wheel.
Fifth it is my Will and desire that my Gran Daughter
Polly Aryes shall have 1 Bed and furniture if William
Callicoat never claims it,
if so he is to have it she has the
Bed now in possession.
Six it is my Will and desire that my Executor shall
sell all my crops and pay my Debts and if any surpluses
should be left to be equally divided between all my children
Seventh I do Appoint John C. Ashworth my Executor to this
My last will and Testament. Signed and Sealed in the
presents of this the 9th day of June 1853:

This Last Will and Testament of Chloe Dillion
Decd was produced in Court and proved by the oath of John C.
Ashworth and George Houseman the witnesses thanks
And admitted to Record and John C. Ashworth the Executor named
in said will refusing in Court to take upon himself the brother of
executor of the said Will. On motion the Estate of the said Chloe
Dillion Decd is committed to the hands of John A. Smith Sheriff
Of this County to be Administered by him according to Law with
The Will of the said Chloe Dillion Decd annered in due form.
