I received the death certificate on Christopher C. Conley, son of an unknown daughter of Samuel Lambeth and Henderson Conley. Information confirmed by Christopher’s death certificate is as follows:
Birth: May 4, 1837, Tennessee
Mother: Unknown
Father: Conley
Death: December 22, 1922, Lincoln County, Chandler, OK
Burial: December 24, 1922 New Zion Cemetery
My hope was the death certificate would reveal the first name of Christopher’s mother; our unknown female Lambeth. Here is a link to the cemetery (New Zion) where Christopher and his wife were buried. His wife’s name on the tombstone is listed as Mary E. Marriage records from Osage county list marriage records for Christopher to an Emily Anderson in 1866 and then to a Mary Scott in 1870. Emily gave birth to twins in 1868, David and Luther she must have died shortly there after given the date of the marriage of Christopher to Mary Scott. I have just now started to look into Christopher in hopes of finding the first name of his Lambeth mother. If any Conley researchers have any information please feel free to Contact Me .
